Lucifer is back and acting...strange. Get ready - this season all your desires will be fulfilled. Season 5 Part 1 premieres August 21st, 2020 on Netflix.
Lucifer Season 5 Synopsis: Lucifer makes a tumultuous return, Chloe rethinks romance, Ella finally finds a nice guy, and Amenadiel adjusts to the whole fatherhood thing.
The series showrunner Ildy Modrovich: "What we realized is that the last bit of that [series] finale episode was actually a lot of great stories sped up just to give us a satisfying ending for all our characters. We literally lobbed off Act 6 and went, 'Let's take what happens in Act 6 in a scene and dive into it, and really explore how are characters end up where they ended up.' So, that ended up being our nugget for Season 6."
The trailers have affirmed Deckerstar is edging nearer than at any other time, however on a show like Lucifer, to what extent will it last? The pessimists among the Lucifans have speculated there's a regularly ambivalent consummation not too far off. In spite of the fact that it doesn't mean Netflix will be going full Game of Thrones and crush the previous four years of work, it would be an especially evil contort to have the pair being denied their upbeat closure at last.
