Altered Carbon Season 2 trailer, release date and synopsis

Netflix has released the first official trailer for the upcoming second season of its cyberpunk series Altered Carbon on February. Published in 2008, Altered Carbon is the first in a five-book series. The series tells the story of a group of individuals who have experimented with the power of manipulating matter into dangerous forms, but also whose human lives are irreparably altered by such experiments. The success of Altered Carbon led to more novels, games and TV series. In the fifth book, John Anealio, reprising his role as the alter-ego Dyson, visits the now-abandoned world of Bios Corporation and creates the advanced nanomachines that make him a target for a deadly hacker.

Synopsis: In Altered Carbon Season 2, Anthony Mackie (The Falcon and the Winter Soldier) would be taking over the role of Takeshi Kovacs from Joel Kinnaman. Kovacs is a former soldier who became a revolutionary, then a mercenary for hire. Aggressively independent, Kovacs swears allegiance to no man or woman except one: Quellcrist Falconer. His undying quest to reconnect with her spans multiple centuries, planets and sleeves.
